Elections Are Coming

The slate of new officers is being posted for the positions that are becoming vacant this year.

Bill Hartman will be stepping down as President after three terrific years. Bill did a wonderful job at the helm these past years and we can only hope that the new President can follow in his footsteps. Bill had some great ideas and we will keep them implemented in the coming years.

The officer positions to be voted on at the April meeting are as follows:

President - Curt Matzinger
1st Vice President - Eric Tallbe
2nd Vice President - Conrad Keydel
Treasurer - Bill Hartman
Secretary - Ed Wortmann

If anyone has another nominee, please come down to the next meeting to get them on the slate. Also, please come down to the meeting and vote.

Membership Renewals

If you look on the address label of your newsletter, it will tell you when your membership dues are up. Please look at your label and renew your membership now so it will not lapse. These newsletters are only being sent to paid-up members.

Waterfowl Seminar

The DEC will be holding a seminar to set the season dates and other waterfowl management issues. It will tentatively be held on the 3rd Saturday in March. For information, contact Mike Putnam, SUNY Stonybrook, Building 40, Stony Brook, NY 11790. When I get a final date, we will post it on our Web site.

Anyone interested in voicing their opinion on season dates and any waterfowl management issues, should attend this meeting.
