It's that time of year again. The South Shore Waterfowlers are having their 20th Annual Duckboat Show and Waterfowl Festival. The date is Sunday, November 5, (a week earlier than last year) from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM. There is a major change for this year. It's being held at GILGO BEACH MARINA, NOT the Cedar Beach Marina This is due to construction that is going to take place at Cedar Beach. For safety sake, town officials are closing the marina and we are being offered to use the facility at Gilgo Beach. Not a major inconvenience. Actually it's a bigger facility (more parking) and more beach front (for dogs & clays). With a little hustling and planning, we shoud be able to pull off the show without too many problems. Let's talk about the festival.
